Dan Kelly Throws Tantrum After Losing Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

Dan Kelly, the former Wisconsin Supreme Court justice who lost a second race for the bench Tuesday night, delivered less of a concession speech and more of a lengthy, emotional whine.

I read somewhere last night that the R’s were on pace to pick up seats in the legislature to give them a supermajority. I need to check if that was accurate, but if it was, prepare for some bullshit impeachments.

Apparently (sadly) they did get the super majority.

Shit‘s gonna start flying now.

I heard this morning that several WI legislators, who have a super majority in the state house, have said they will simply impeach the new judge. Similarly, TN is going to throw 3 Democrats out of the state house for participating in anti-gun protests since the school shooting there. If these things happen, will we finally realize we are in a fight for our lives and none of this is politics as usual anymore?

Typical Trumper. . . it’s all about me and I’m the victim here. Kelly basically called the voters of Wisconsin stupid.

Also, it appears that everything he’s accusing Justice P of are things he did himself. Projection!

That was intense anger and hate emanating from his stern tight mouth. What is wrong with these people?

What a graceless, classless POS. It is amazing that they believe only THEY are ‘fit’ to rule. I’m sure some sexism is involved too…

he also spent much of the campaign accusing her of being too candid about her beliefs. Protasiewicz premised much of her campaign on her promise to uphold abortion rights, coming just shy of saying outright that she’d vote against the 1849 ban that would all but end access to the procedure in the state.

Holy crap, a candidate for judge actually took a stand on the issues and got elected with a whompilating 11% margin of victory. How… democratic. Isn’t that how things are supposed to work?

Though I agree that we are and have been in that fight, I think the answer to your question is no, sadly. I think it’s far more likely that we have a thousand small instances of such things that lead to a day when, barely remarked, the people busy undermining democracy will gain the ability to do what they want, when they want, in most of the country. And then the forces of democracy find themselves considered the lawbreakers. And people who’ve been raising the alarm for years will be proven right, but it will be too late.

Thereby confirming voters made the right choice.

Kari Lake and the Skanky family would be so proud of Danny Kelly. I hope he raises lots of money and fights the election all the way to the Supreme Court like a courageous, god-fearing and patriotic white nationalist foot soldier. Is Dan going to call for protests and insurrections?

No need if the State Assembly can just impeach the new justice right out of the gate.

You mad, bro?

The MAGA Conservatives should impeach the new justice even before she takes office for winning an election that did not have the outcome they wanted.

Dan Kelly should call to threaten the Secretary of State with violence unless a winning margin of votes is magically created. Violence, intimidation, protests, threats and armed insurrections are the best conservative approaches to overturning elections. All this should done on a recorded line and with documentation to create and preserve the historical record for Dan Kelly’s library.

Certainly, there might be some question about his ‘judicial temperment;’ although, I doubt that would have been an impediment to his service in Tammany Hall or the Wisconsin he wants a part in forging.

Should? No. Will they? Very likely.

Besides having an in depth knowledge of the law the most important qualification for a judge is having an even temperament, not letting his/her motions take control in court. Throwing such a tantrum as Kelly did following a landslide defeat is proof that he has no business being a judge.
