The New York General Assembly committee that’s holding an impeachment inquiry into New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) will look at reports that the governor’s family and allies jumped the line for priority COVID-19 testing in the early stage of the pandemic.
Or jaywalked? Went through a yellow light? Didn’t come to a complete stop at a stop sign? The day is young, I’m sure there will more revelations as the day wears on.
Ha. But this is wrong. I have no problem with him jumping the line; he was most likely in contact with the virus and interacted with people in contact with the virus. But his FAMILY? Sorry. They should just stay home like everyone else was told to do.
You can also look at it as if he was willing to use state troopers and resources to do the testing, that’s the tip of the iceberg for what he’s probably used them for.
Unauthorized use of government resources has ended plenty of careers.
This is looking more and more as if someone with deep pockets is funding the and one reason is that is they get a GOP gov in office when tRump’s courts hearing happen they can pardon him when the New York courts hand down convictions.
This latest is much do do about nothing. He is helping family that he will be in contact with and wants to protect them and himself. This was testing not the vax or priority and special treatment at a overloaded medical center.
There are laws that government officials are not supposed to use tax payer resources to help their families. Since when did it suddenly be cool to use tax payer money for private families, particularly when those facts are hidden as much as possible from the public that pays those taxes?
