The GOP’s right flank grew enraged at one of their own Wednesday, lashing out at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) after the senator referred to the Jan. 6 Capitol attack as a “violent terrorist attack.”
The right-wing writer Julie Kelly, who was also on Bannon’s show, called Cruz’s comment “shameful,” noting that the senator also praised Capitol Police — “you know, the cop who executed a female veteran? Doesn’t mention her name.”
And this simply further demonstrates that our side MUST become masters of actively sowing division among those scumbags. They did it to us and got 2016 and to some extent an underwhelming 2020 - now we need the constant drumbeat and a red cape waving in front of those bovines. We need to depress THEIR unity and turnout as much as possible in advance of November. Biden had subtle digs during his great speech today - congress and every Dem elected official must follow suit, but louder and bolder. Call them out, do like Cobra-Kai - strike first, strike hard, no mercy sir.
The Trumpers there that day were proud of what they did, until they saw the bad reaction the rest of the country had towards their violence, then it became about blaming the FBI or antifa. There is always this dance around whether the violence was good or bad or justified or who caused it in their ranks. Some of them deny they were responsible for the violence, some say they should have been more violent.
I hate to criticize the media for reporting on this, but I have a hard time understanding how or why it’s newsworthy that Republican lunatics have trouble keeping their stories straight.
