On Sunday, Trump offered a brief congratulatory message to the team with no mention of a White House invite.
“Congratulations to the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team on winning the World Cup! Great and exciting play,” he tweeted. “America is proud of you all!”
A few things:
An invite will not be on offer for the team. Especially after Rapinoe told Rump to go f*ck himself. I’m also quite surprised that the American fans were as really outspoken against Rump as they were in public. More “angry Democrats” in the land of the surrender monkeys. Excellent. He’ll think that not inviting them will be a real sick burn on his part. Whatevs.
Also, no way he wrote that tweet. Nope. No way. When he does belch out one of his missives, it’ll be about himself.
