This virus is nasty, nasty, nasty.

I can’t help but think, too, that when people wonder how indigenous populations were decimated and weakened by diseases brought to this hemisphere by Europeans, we now, unfortunately, have a ready-made contemporary illustration of what that looked like.

And if a US Navy hospital ship, which would be expected to have high levels of sanitation, can exhibit Covid-45, there’s a reckoning coming to your local Waffle House.

Using hindsight and considering the state of testing, it was inane to believe they could keep Covid off that ship.

Given the incubation time, etc, it’s possible that people contracted the virus before boarding the ship - especially if the infected crew member was involved with health care while ashore.

I hope the Administration sends that raving rabid sea dog Modly out to give a speech on this ship, Comfort, Pleasure, Paradise, whatever, also. It’s been one disastrous decision after another. The administration cannot seem to anything right.
