The descent into American madness continues apace.

And yet, while everyone seems to tut-tut about it, darned few are willing to stand up to it.

We get what we deserve.

When’s the next mass protest (not that all that much was stopped as a result of the last one)?

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, while these disaggregated protests make Dems feel good, they are virtually meaningless. People need to get out to DC in numbers. Not sure why mobilizing is such a problem. 500-1M came to the woman’s march the day after Trump’s first inauguration.

The Supreme Court essentially told the Trump administration “do your best” knowing full well that the student is failing every subject. A parent-teacher conference is scheduled.

Regarding the Greenland commander, apparently acting like a decent human being subverts the administration.

Remember when the worst thing a president could do was wear a beige suit?

I think the disaggregated protests are attempting to get to local representation - House and Senate - to advise of the discontent. I thought I read somewhere where some of the representation actually joined in to some of the protests, but I could be wrong.

I just got a newsflash from Guardian that some US law firm scrubbed its website of all DEI references. This is the stuff that is disappointing in general. Universities and law firms kowtowing to a dictator. Sheesh. I mean, what’s a mother to do with this?

ETTD.

I once had hopes that the nation would stumble through, even if a number of people and institutions turned to ashes. Unfortunately, we may have all been exposed for too long. Ashes sometimes become part of soil and lead to rebirth; other times the land becomes toxic and uninhabitable.

We’ll see which way this goes.

[Rubio] unilaterally revoked Khalil’s legal status on the basis of Khalil’s political beliefs.

While Donald Trump proclaims Putin is doing a great job.

It’ll be 50 years before we know what Putie has on the First Felon. I bet it’s epic.

After that report, the Pentagon removed Col. Susan Meyers as commander of the 821st Space Base Group.

Of course, it doesn’t help that she is a woman. How dare she gainsay the all-powerful God commander.

Marco Rubio that confirms he unilaterally revoked Khalil’s legal status on the basis of Khalil’s political beliefs

I think Israel is guilty of genocide too… Does that mean Little Marco can remove my citizenship too?

PFFT… pretty sure Trump sees her as a DEI hire anyway, so for him it’s a double win.

President Donald Trump’s firings at the Department of Health and Human Services included the entire office that sets federal poverty guidelines, which determine whether tens of millions of Americans are eligible for health programs such as Medicaid, food assistance, child care, and other services, former staff said.

If they can’t tell if you’re eligible, you can’t get assistance! Budget problem solved.
