COVID-19 Relief Checks Come With Letter From Trump Saying He ‘Proudly Signed’ CARES Act

Apparently President Donald Trump’s name on the paper checks wasn’t enough.

Americans receiving the stimulus checks from the government’s COVID-19 relief package are also being sent letters signed by Trump saying that he “proudly signed” the legislation that made the payments happen, per CNN’s report and photos of the letters posted by check recipients on Twitter.

Well, there’s another good use of taxpayer money. Wonder how many million $$$ that has cost us?

How much did THIS little vanity project cost? We laughed when they hit the house…since we had direct deposit we didn’t get his signature on our check so of COURSE he had to send a letter…it hit the circular file.

Did congress allocate the X amount of millions it cost to send out these letters? Or are they being paid by the drump campaign.

He politicizes everything. Trump openly abuses his office for political gain. It’s a blatant misuse of taxpayer money for partisan political purposes.

I got my letter and promptly threw it away, right after I threw up in my mouth.

Since the letters–which served no purpose other than to peddle a political statement–are clearly part of the Trump reelection campain, I hope we get some clarification as to who paid for them. If it was the taxpayers I would say that they are a pretty clear campaign finance violation.

Trump’s personal crooked lawyer Barr will literally break any law to serve his sole client. When Don the Con leaves office in disgrace Barr will face years of criminal and civil cases, including disbarment, for his unethical and illegal acts and words.

Here’s the thing… we didn’t even get a physical check, just the letter. The money got direct deposited in our bank account. That leads me to believe that everyone getting stimulus money, whether they got it in paper check form or not, is at least getting a letter signed by President Sniffles the Coked up Orange Clown. And I am quite sure tax money paid for it.

FYI we got our direct deposit about 3 weeks ago, no dump letter for us yet
