COVID-19 Fears Swell In Rural America As Pandemic Erupts In Far Away Cities

DUFUR, Ore. (AP) — The social distancing rules repeated like a mantra in America’s urban centers, where the coronavirus is spreading exponentially, might seem silly in wide-open places where neighbors live miles apart and “working from home” means another day spent branding calves or driving a tractor alone through a field.

Nobody knows what to do and they’re just running in circles, so stay away from me is what I’m saying,” said Mike Filbin, a 70-year-old cattle rancher in Wasco County, Oregon, one of the few parts of the state that has yet to see a case of COVID-19.

That exactly describes what the Covidiot Trump Regime is doing except for the medical workers, which the Trump regime is NOT providing nor hurrying to provide with PPE!

We are ranked 3rd worldwide as the most infected next to Italy - whose death toll (7,503) has more than doubled China!

Saying this again:

  1. Stay-At-Home
  2. Fact Check WHO, JHU and @joshtpm’s “Key Coronavirus Crisis Links”
  3. Do Not Listen to Covidiot Trump

And FFS, DO NOT have a Coronavirus Party like the one in KY!

The math is very simple to do.

There are 350 million people in the US.

Assume a ten percent infection rate, with 1.5% mortality (both extremely optimistic): 525,000 deaths.

Assume a fifty percent infection rate, with 2.3% mortality (the same as China’s): 4,000,025 deaths.

Assume a 25 percent infection rate, with 7.2 percent mortality (the same as Italy’s): 6,300,000 deaths.

The most likely scenario given what we know about the virus, what’s gone on in other countries, and most importantly, what our government is failing to do to either prevent the spread of this virus or address the overwhelming surge of healthcare needs coming, I’d say it’s pretty damn likely that we’re looking at somewhere around 3-4 million dead…

“As of (Monday), the total deaths attributed to the virus in the United States stands at ninety,” the letter states. “Not nine hundred, not nine thousand, not ninety thousand. Ninety. This number is sure to rise in the near future but we need to keep our wits about us.”

And today is Wednesday, and the death count is over 900.
Nine hundred.
2 days, and 10x as many deaths.
What do you think the body county is going to be next Monday, you…witless ones?

They need not worry. They voted for the smartest, most stable, most knowledgable person the world has ever seen. One who knows more about [insert any subject] than anyone, especially about trivial things like … virology. He will shepherd them like a modern-day prophet, and lead them into the promised land.

As proof, he will “reopen the country for business” on Easter, and we shall all be risen from the ashes of the stock market crash, riding a Phoenix, just like Jesus.

Rachel Maddow Says GOP Governors In The South Are Setting Their States Up For Coronavirus Disaster"

I really, really wish I could feel sorry for these people, But I don’t. They put Trump into power, and now they have to deal with the consequences of their choice. Sic transit gloria stultiatem.

First, they will have to acquire some wits before they can conserve them.

Will mass death be needed to give Trump followers a clue that Dear Leader is Jim Jones x1000? Killing his base to own the libs.

Of all the stupid choices, reactions, and attitudes in this article, the idea of “outsiders” being responsible bothers me most. Maybe it’s because they think of other Americans as outsiders. More likely, it’s because many of these folks voted for Trump and now want to ignore the consequences of that choice.

All it takes is one truck driver to end their isolation.

And many of these small towns have a nursing home/retirement facility. It gets into there via one of the workers and kablam!
