The Michigan Court of Claims on Tuesday granted a temporary injunction blocking enforcement of a 1931 law that would ban nearly all abortions in the state.

As an ABC executive told the House subcommittee, condom ads violated “standards of good taste and community acceptability.”

Gov. Whitmer, Attorney General Nessel, and Judge Gleicher are all women. The Lt. Gov. of Michigan, Garlin Gilchrist II, is not. LG Gilchrist is a Black man with considerable talent as a politician and community-based activist, and he contributes mightily to the success of this Democratic executive team (besides him, Whitmer, Nessel, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson) running for re-election in November.
Tree ripened bananas are so much sweeter than what we get at the grocery store. Same for pineapple. Same for every fresh fruit or vegetable we buy. Early harvests ruin the tastes of what we eat.
