Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) on Sunday repeatedly refused to condemn former President Trump’s glowing praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The GOP is populated with assholes like Cotton. I really don’t get why they think that acting out like this is going to do them any good. Of course they will get Trump’s rubes, but really where is that going to get them? Remember these are the same rubes who paid 300 just to get into CPAC, and I am pretty sure they don’t all have RVs in the parkinglot.

That this worm was once an officer in our military is a damning statement.
This is why Cotton and other GOPers can get away with this. The Media has the attention span of a gnat. BTW Debating whether Trump could have handled the Ukraine better is useless click bait speculation. It’s an experiment that was never run because Trump wasn’t elected and Biden was. We can only look at the factual record of Trump’s extortion attempt of Zelensky and his constant disparagement of NATO, amongst other things.

Anyone in Arkansas with an ounce of decency (and such folks do exist) should rise up in disgust at being implicitly associated with such moral cowardice.
Tom Cotton wants to lie the way he is accustomed to. He may be derelict on a lot, but he knows that Ukraine, Europe’s reaction and the resultant situation on the ground is not something that Talking Points can remedy.
Not to mention a different international reality that he cannot prepare for like a FOX News interview.
