This is the thing, cops believe that they should be shooting people, for many that was the reason they joined. If we are going to start to reform police forces form scratch, a good feature would be to issue them revolvers only (unarmed would be even better) and get rid of those military styles uniforms that have been creeping into police departments. If they complain that they would be outgunned by the criminals then we might recruit them as allies against the proliferation of guns in our society.

The GOP should be supporting Minneapolis and other cities that want to reorganize their police departments due in part to the strength of police union and its ability to shield criminal behavior by the PD. After all, St. Reagan has been described as “the most powerful union buster in the world. He stacked the National Labor Relations Board with officials who vehemently opposed unions, causing long-term damage to collective bargaining and workers’ rights in the United States.”

Not against the law to be a butthead. Not saying I approve. But I think this guy would be shocked and saddened to lose his job. If you doubt me try telling potential employers your last job was in a prison and here you are looking for a new one.

The prison guard is most likely union and they have to suspend him before they can fire. Fed Ex is mostly non union. Their pilots are unionized but not so much the rest.
