Li was one of eight people authorities targeted for “sharing false information”

Why does this sound familiar?

Because we’ve seen this happen right here in our country, a republic that embodies democracy…
Our wanna-be king is targeting anyone and everyone who can tell the truth, esp. those that tells the truth about his corruption, criminality and braveness!

The same trend will undoubtedly emerge in the US, not that Donnie is in any way whatsoever responsible.

What is the date on this doc’s twitter messages that got him in trouble?
Had he contacted WHO ?

A cautionary tale to be sure. This will be us as well. Look at what happened in New York City…the reported increase of deaths was not nefarious, but just better data with the passage of time.

We will most likely have many instances like this and like China is now admitting to.

It’s all on the governors now, just as lardass said yesterday. Of course he’s going to oversee their every decision and offer up a grade (in a toga, thumb up thumb down). How cool would that be.

Chinese seem to have a bigger problem in that they have almost five times our population. Social disintegration is a real threat. Personally I don’t care. Haven’t found a good take out Chinese place in years in NC. Shredded pork is what they eat here. But I digress…

OT but a feel-good moment to start the day:

I’ve always liked Jackie Speier:

I’m hard pressed not to think that this is political. Blue states like California got a pathetic number of loans issued. Nebraska got nearly 75% of loans requested. I smell a rat with orange hair.

Oh boy, big jump. For a country with 1.5 billion inhabitants, fewer deaths than in a single state in the US? Oh, so horrible those Chinese, they can’t do anything right, no?? How ludicrous to criticize them without any sense of how by comparison with us, that nation has done amazingly well.

Doctor Li died from Covid.

He sent a warning in December to a social media group of fellow doctors in China, informing them of the cases he was seeing caused by the then-unidentified Covid-19 virus.

I am pretty sure the Chinese government is still under-reporting deaths by a huge margin. Of course we are also doing a horrible job, but at least once the dust settles, we will know just how horrible it was, even if Trump will just call it fake news. You will never know the real numbers from China.

Trump’s blaming of China came after he initially showered praise on Chinese President Xi Jinping for the country’s response, while largely dismissing the risk it posed to the U.S.

Oh wait, you mean Trump looked for a scapegoat after realizing his administration of chuckleheads is in an ongoing trainwreck of their own making?

At least Trump finally admitted he can’t govern and gave up on his, ‘obey my authoriteye’ with the governors. Now, if his NJ compound could only become a vector.

I’ve believed all along that the Chinese have been underreporting known cases and deaths. I believe that the reported numbers are off by a factor of 10.

We’ll never know the real numbers here either, if Trump has anything to say about it.

This depends entirely on which states you’re talking about. Washington, not likely as it appears we’re on the downward slope. Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama, for sure as they were three of the states, all run by GOP idiots, who delayed taking any actions.

The behavior across the board by the Chinese is suspect. No surprise there, but it all lends weight to the accidental release from a lab theory of the origin of the virus. Not sure if they’re too dumb to understand that or they’re simply dumb in the same way as the cult is here and keep doubling down on lies in the face of obvious facts to the contrary. Either way they look bad, dumb and evil.

Everything else was straightforward, so is this a sudden bit of snark? You mean cowardice? Which would also be the alliterative way to go.

Oops, my bad…I typed craveness and spell check changed that, just like it did now! But cowardice would be a good description too!
