Trump was advised Vindman and Sondland were going to leave on their own. He fired them needlessly because he once had a TV show where he fired people. Heâs still in a reality show, only with a much larger, global audience. He actually told his aides to treat each day as if they were in a reality show.
Before they were fired, Gordon Sondland & Lt. Col. Vindman were quietly planning their own exits. Officials told Trump this was likely, & advised him to just let them leave on their own to spare himself the criticism of firing witnesses, but Trump disregarded that advice.

Whatâs even more apparent is how retaliatory this action was and how they escorted Vindmanâs twin brother out the door for absolutely no logical, professional or legally grounded reason. It was all done out of total vindictiveness and petty retribution against a government employee that tRump in his delusional and feeble mind simply doesnât like or trust.
