On Wednesday, White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway said it was “wrong” for a White House staffer to allegedly refer to COVID-19 as “the Kung Flu,” but she refused to fully address the allegation when reporters wouldn’t give her a name.
How about “Can you explain why the President insisted on claiming that COVfefe-45 was a hoax and how the stock markets complete lack of confidence in your buffoon of a boss can be addressed?”
Maybe it explains why Bill Maher’s show in on sabbatical, he got a job working in public relations for the Trump administration. Or to put another way, having a sense of humor and telling a joke, even one in bad taste, is no reason to get a person fired.
“Conway said it was ‘wrong’ for a White House staffer to allegedly refer to COVID-19 as ‘the Kung Flu,’ but she refused to fully address the allegation…”
It’s just like “Murder on the Orient Express”: They ALL did it.
(And you don’t even wanna hear what the White House staff says about Armenians!)
Meanwhile, while this dipwad is defending the indefensible, the governor of MN just said in his daily press conference that MN does NOT have the testing capacity they need to accurately state how many cases there really are in MN.
They have confirmed 77 cases thus far, but the Gov is pretty certain that there are more than 100.
He also said the GOP State officials are complaining about the bars and restaurants being closed. The Gov said very clearly, he’s going to take the advise of the doctors and epidemiologists over the GOP’s recommendations.
I’m good with that. At least this time their ignorance is literally suicidal, so every little bit they want to do to cleanse our society of them is fine by me.
Not all bars and restaurants were heeding the order to close. The Saloon on Calhoun in Brookfield was open Tuesday, St. Patrick’s Day, with about 30 people in the bar, WITI-TV in Milwaukee reported.
“This does affect people,” said Dayler. “People are going to die. We don’t want anybody to die, but over 80% get a cough. We’re killing our economy, and we’re killing our entire industry over a cough.”
