Don’t government officials have a special burden regarding telling the truth? Like officers of the court, or something.
The charge of soliciting foreign aid for an election from foreign governments doesn’t require a quid pro quo. The simple act of solicitation is a crime.
And they know this.

YEP… I bet you are right… tomorrow during the hearings they will release the transcript of this call… and the mainstream media will be stating how this transcript is totally innocuous, they will call it the Second Transcript and jump up and down screaming about how it disputes the whistle blower account. I doubt this will fool too many folks on TPM, but we’re not the ones they will be preaching to.
