I heard on the news this month that more then a few career DOJ lawyers resigned when it became clear that the Con mans hand pick flunky’s were going to defy a Judges order. As pointed out by a commentator: YOU DON’T DO THAT. Once a Judge has ordered you to stop, it’s game over, or it that’s the way it’s suppose to work.

Either they do not realize how much trouble they are in or they do not care, because they are confident that the Orange POS will pardon them.

I can’t believe the amount of complete chaos that has happened since March of 2025. I really don’t know how we all are going to make it to elections first in '26 and then in '28? And from this Alien Enemies Act case from March '25 we’ve seen that the SC cares nothing for procedure and the law.

Cannot recall where I read or heard it, but yesterday someone noted that the pardon power was the one remnant of the monarchy we retained in our constitution.

That’s right. The pardon power was a royal prerogative in all European monachies, and the Framers chose to give it to the president. This was a major point of attack by antifederalists in the struggle over ratification.

Without administration intransigence, Judge Boasberg could have done this. Seven. Months. Ago.
