Gee, so does the story from earlier today and all the lies and bullshit this “think tank” has been spouting for over two months just go down the memory hole now? Kind of like the re-writing of history on Trump’s response to coronavirus?
If you care about your family, other than washing your hands and isolating yourselves socially, an equally important thing to do is turn off all conservative media. Their (false) information is potentially fatal to your loved ones. Though I know I’m preaching to the choir here.
I’m glad some of them appear to be belatedly coming around…for now. Still too little, too late for many Americans.
"Conservative think tank? is an oxymoron. “Conservative cult” is more like it.

I’m not sure what the point of this story is. Obviously, we should only be getting advice from public health experts, not think tanks. The opinions of these clowns don’t matter. They say they follow the data, but without proper expertise and experience, they are just giving opinions, not useful analysis. Remember, the people who are so damn certain, like these clowns and Limbaugh, usually know the least about something. That’s good to be reminded about, I suppose.
I posted on his comments at ACSH. Alex gets really touchy and tends to reply to many comments. If you comment, keep it civil and he might actually listen.

If any source claims to be conservative, don’t believe them. Their one and only goal is the All Against All.
The truth is what the truth is. Whether President Trump, his administration, and these so-called Think Tank members (is the irony obvious to everyone?) want to accept them or not does not change the facts. It only leads to more suffering (physical, emotional, and economic) and death of people because they were more concerned about political optics than the people.

Doesn’t sound like he uses the scientific method at all. Just a quick glance at the surface of the problem and he formulates an opinion. Lacks integrity on the largest scale of scientific examination of the elements.

First, the name: “the American Council on Science and Health.” Carefully designed to make the casual reader think it has some official status.
But it’s just one tiny component of the vast conservative Bad Ideas-Industrial Complex, which exists to put a veneer of science on ideas more appropriate to the Stone Age.
We really need to do a comprehensive scrub of 501(c ) 3 foundations receiving tax-exempt status. Ones like this, or the Discovery Institute, and all their kindred generators of pernicious ideas need to be shut down as contrary to the public interest and damaging to public education.
Berezow’s graduate mentor Rich Darveau should be ashamed of what his former student is doing. The University of Washington should revoke Berezow’s Ph.D. for misuse and endangerment of the public welfare.
You might not think a virus could be a political thing, but it’s bad for Trump, and therefore they tried to deny it was real, tried to deny it was serious, and expect them to deny Trump was badly behind the curve. Expect conservatives to parrot Trump’s claims he was the first one to see it was serious.
