This just in…House Republicans to impeach Lincoln and Grant….
“chaos monster,”
A new cuddly Sesame Street character!
Good to see that “Shoot first, ask questions later” is still the order of the day. And: “An armed society is a polite society”. Bonus points for an all-female incident. SMDH
It will not be a shock.
Here, let me try and top it.
" Republican Tells Kentucky NAACP Chapter Her White Father Was A 'Slave’"
“A Republican lawmaker in Kentucky described her white father as a “slave” as she spoke to a local NAACP chapter about her effort to ban schools in the state from offering diversity and inclusion programs.”

Yes, After all whats a little murder between friends with money
Kushner calls Saudi Crown Prince “visionary leader” who has made the world better (axios.com)
What he’s saying: After some initial exasperation at being asked about Khashoggi’s murder — “are we really still doing this?” — Kushner told Axios’ Dan Primack that he had not seen the U.S. intelligence assessment that the crown prince ordered the assassination of the Washington Post columnist.
“I WANT TO BE LOVED!”
Too bad.
From the mission statement of the RNC:
“…we are engaged in a national effort to fight for our proven agenda, take our message to every American, grow the party, promote election integrity, and elect Republicans up and down the ballot.”
" I can assure you… every single penny will go to the number one and the only job of the RNC… that is electing Donald J Trump."
Lara Trump
Lara’s pronouncement of the RNC’s role and goals is at direct odds with their mission statement. Has anyone in the media commented on this?
Memo: “It’s certainly what we all remember about the election of 1864: The “wrinkled and sagging” visage of 55-year-old Abraham Lincoln versus the smooth complexion of 38-year-old Army Gen. George B. McClellan.”
… though, if polls existed in 1864, Lincoln probably would have been down well into the summer. It wasn’t until the Union started winning more battles going into the fall (thanks, Gen. Sherman!) and John C. Fremont essentially threw his support to Lincoln that the Great Emancipator’s re-election was assured.
That’s why I have hope that not only does the economy continue to do well, but that there’s relative peace for Israel-Gaza (Bibi being removed would help) and that Russia falters again. No guarantees, but nothing is.
A “99% endorsement record”?? I guess, if you don’t count all the losses. Whadda maroon.
The lady learned the hard way that having a gun in the house actually makes you less safe. Now cops are always looking for an excuse to shoot black people. Also cops should not be allowed to carry anything other than a revolver. Extra capacity only exacerbates their blood thirstiness.
“I don’t know what this Special Counsel was trying to achieve,” she wrote. “We should give everyone grace, and I can’t imagine someone would try to use our son’s death to score political points. If you’ve experienced a loss like that, you know that you don’t measure it in years — you measure it in grief. May 30th is a day forever etched on our hearts. It shattered me, it shattered our family.”
Jill Biden’s message Saturday quickly raised more money than any other email the campaign has sent out since the president launched his re-election campaign in April, a campaign official said. The person would not disclose how much it raised.
The Hur Slur backfires. As it should.
Biden v. Trump: The battle over who’s too old, too forgetful or too confused
It isn’t about who’s too experienced and qualified, (as it should have been in 2016 and actually was in 2020). However, of the two, Biden is older than Trump, but beats him soundly as far as the other two are concerned. He’s also a thousand times more qualified, experienced, compassionate, and 100% American.
Sitting GOP members of Congress are now safe in the knowledge they can be a thieving, crooked, deluded asshole and fraud and will be left alone by their party.
His bald-faced lying still makes me gasp. And the fact that his cult simply accepts it … well, we are truly living in two different worlds.
What’s this about Hur’s lawyer being Steve Bannon’s lawyer?
Why the hell Hur and the DOJ didn’t wait until October 15th to release this is the real puzzle.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.), a key negotiator, ran point on the relationship, ensuring that Graham was happy with the final deal. But Graham’s shifting demands prompted her to privately refer to him as a “chaos monster” at times, according to two people who heard her use the term.

Karma comes early to Sinema. It will be complete when either she declines to run for re-election or loses in November.
Because NOW it’s okay to impeach somebody who isn’t currently in office!
