In the end when one dies it’s the family or friends that have to deal with the anger and the pain.
In this case I think it’s a rare follow up story. Mostly what gets reported on and generates comments made against a foolish idiot, a hateful bigot, or willful hatemonger, but the family also catches the wrath.

Are you very young? Perhaps you should refrain from your tactic of explaining basic things that children learn on an adult oriented forum. I’ve already buried two parents and one child.
Someone on MSNBC had a president of a firm in Indianapolis doing the same thing. He said what the biggest problem they had was trying to figure out the scoring on the stick of the swab. The swab goes up a person’s nose, and then into a sleeve with reagent, but the whole swab stick isn’t needed. So he and his team hand scored hundred of thousands of sticks.

What you meant to type was that they were scoring the swab sticks so they would know how far to insert the swab to correctly take a sample. You still need the entire swab stick.
And perhaps I’m a little bit more forgiving having lost both parents, one in June 2019 and one in Feb 2020.
As for explaining basic things that children learn sometimes it helps me make sure I have the concept correct.
