The world of Fox News is doubling up on its dose of primetime host Tucker Carlson.
Fox News announced Wednesday that Carlson is set to develop two new video projects for the channel’s Fox Nation streaming service.
Prepping for his presidential bid in 2024.
This strongly implies a move by Lachlan Murdoch to put his Personal Stamp of Editorial Choice on things, elevating the Country-club White-Power attitudes of the younger Murdoch. Rupert is dead soon, and Hannity is tired, wealthy, limited in intellect, and tied to Trump’s ball sac. Turning Carlson into a pet politician (as in A FACE IN THE CROWD) is the end-game possibility for Murdoch.
There was a time when Tucker at least pretended to be somewhat sane. That time is long gone now. All of FOX News, with the exception of only a couple of daytime anchors, has gone completely batshit. They cater only to those who want to hear of culture warfare and conspiracy theories.
Sometimes a spoonerism is more true than the original.

Carlson has a lot of demagogue camouflage on the outside of his prep school bully persona. I really despise him on every level, so it makes me sad to say I think he could be a real threat. The main thing stopping him is greed - why run for office when you can fart and get paid millions for it right out in the open?
