Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold (D) pushed back on Donald Trump after the former president argued that an effort to use the 14th Amendment’s Disqualification Clause to keep him off the ballot in 2024 was “election interference.”
The orange thing hates women as we know so it takes very little to get his panties in a twist when a bright, duly elected CO official rightly calls him out as she’s done on MSNBC where we’ll never see him addressing its audience.
“This is like a banana republic,” Trump told right-wing radio host Dan Bongino on Thursday. “And what they’re doing is, it’s called election interference. … Now the 14th Amendment is just a continuation of that.”
So is impeachment and had he been convicted by McConnell, we wouldn’t be here
The orange thing is so crazed, even if it were a MAGA man saying these things, he’d still attack, calling him a traitor and threatening to sic his evil minions on them.
When you have the maturity level of a slow-developing three year old, everyone who won’t give you candy is horrible.
I hope and pray that McConnell hangs on long enough to see the worst defeat in Gooper history, and that he is still coherent enough to understand that he protected the monster that blew his party up.

Trump is a master of projection. He accuses sane Americans (non MAGAs) of election interference and violating the law when that’s exactly what he did in 2020-2021 and is doing now.

McConnell is personally responsible for failing to convict Trump in his second impeachment. His craven cowardice prevented Trump from being removed from politics, and we continue to suffer. Sure, GOP Trump cultists would have howled like stuck pigs, but it would have died down in a few months.

Yep, he was accused (credibly) of Interference w/ the Ukraine “Perfect Call”, so his narcissism forces this response.
He can’t even say the truth when it would be better politically for him.
He could say rightfully and truthfully that part of the reason folks are exploring the 14th amendment option is because they think it possible Trump captures lightning in a bottle a 2nd time beats Biden.
As it is, his narcissism won’t allow it.

Just a day later, realizing they do not have standing to move this case to federal court, Trump lawyers filed a new motion stating they are not opposing the case’s return to state court.

It is as though trump’s lawyers and spokespeople are robots repeating the same tired, baseless shit over and over again. Say that statement above in a flat, robot-like voice and you’ll see what I am getting at. Maybe the same ones he’s using in Georgia, which would make the motion understandable in a lazy-sloppy kind of way.
