Three Catholic bishops in Colorado have said they will review a wrongful death lawsuit defense in which a Catholic hospital group argued human fetuses aren’t people, the Denver Post reported Thursday. Jeremy Stodghill in 2006 filed a wrongful death and malpractice suit against Catholic Health Initiatives after his pregnant wife and her two unborn fetuses died at St. Thomas More Hospital, one of the group’s hospitals, in Cañon City, Colo.
