Hasn’t decided, won’t decide until the last few seconds then, of course, she won’t vote to impeach. She’s a chicken shit and I hope Maine can get a new senator.

I heard that a dog bit a man today as well.

Collins will not say anything until she’s forced to, all we will get is strategically slippery statements meant to keep her from pissing anyone off. In the end, she will choose what is most likely to benefit her most, whether that means keeping McConnell happy or trying to save her seat. The Senate will be far better off when she’s gone.

Soooo… in Maine, sentiment is blowing in the direction of impeach and remove - and this is her meally mouthed way of not standing down (yet) those headwinds, while avoiding directly inviting mean tweet treatment from the Chief Blowhard.

She plays an interesting role for McConnell.

She is always one of the first out there, clutching her pearls. Yet she always ends up voting the way McConnell wants.

What that accomplishes, is it allows him to be more forceful with other Senators “Well, you know Collins is going to need the cover to vote against us, so you have to vote with us.” That sort of thing.

I think by now, however, that everyone on both sides is well aware of that game. More importantly, I think the people of Maine have had enough of her.

Dear Rethugs-R-Us,
Don’t worry, Aunt Susan will vote to sponsor the bill. She will have to go through her “I Have Doubts” talking points first but rest assured, she is a Thugs-R-Us loyalist!

From the article;

“The Maine Republican said she hasn’t decided what her vote will be on the resolution.”

Translation, if necessary to pass my vote is there. Otherwise I will do whatever is best politically.

Susan is concerned but undecided. I’ve seen this movie, but I won’t spoil the suspense of the ending for those of you who don’t know.

the Senate’s resolution condemning the House impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump.

Firstly, where the heck does the Senate get off condemning the work of the House? Secondly, this smacks of prejudging any potential trial. At every level this is just flat out despicable.

Finally, as others have said, essentially, “So what, Susan”? It doesn’t take any guts to use the exact same reasoning for not co-sponsoring the resolution to not vote to pass it. So, of course, she’ll vote yes, while “hating herself every minute for doing it.” *&^%$#@!

Collins is a towering pillar of nothingness

But she’s not alone.

Where do brave Mario and Cruz stand on this?

I’ll believe it when I see it, and then I will still not trust her.

She is infuriatingly predictable.

I am so done with her. I did vote for Olympia Snowe for senator, as she was an independent republican in the New England tradition. But never cast a vote for Collins, as she is a will o wisp and like your sock shows… just votes with whatever wind is farted by the republican leadership. She is an embarrassment to those of us that have lady parts.
