House Republicans appeared to take full advantage of the fact that Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) was filling in for House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) on Tuesday. Nadler was in New York caring for his sick wife. During the public hearing before the House Rules Committee on Tuesday, ranking member Tom Cole (R-OK) used his time quizzing witnesses Raskin and House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins (R-GA) to push some Trumpian talking points and cast shade on Nadler’s handling of the vote on the articles of impeachment.
Chairman Nadler was home with his sick wife, and it isn’t just a case of the flu. These republican creatures deserve any awful thing that Karma can dish up. Only a hard core trumpie would like this display of bile and hate.
I didn’t know about Collins before, and I’m not really impressed by him…he’s basically just a bully, willing to yell and scream to force things his way. He’s doing the same here, with evidence that he just lied to Congress thrown in his face he’s still arguing that Nadler didn’t say he’d work something out with him.
The Republicans look so dishonest through this entire process…sure, it may win them the low information conservative voters they depend on now, but those people are dying, and the young people coming up can see through this kind of thing. They are relegating themselves to minority status sometime in the next decade, which explains all of their attempts to cheat the system to retain power. It won’t work, in the end the people will take the nation back from them.

He asked questions that really Nadler could only answer, or should be the one answering…it was a dirty political trick, nothing more. And, no surprise…the Republicans showed their usual lack of class by attacking Nadler while he’s home with his sick wife, how despicable.
“So, Rep Collins, are you OK with the Traitor-in-Chief – er, I mean Your President – giving aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States? Just asking. Because it sure seems like your giving cover to a traitor.”
These are psychopaths, pure and simple. Nothing, truly nothing is off the table with them. Their own holy asses and their power and money are the only things in the Universe that matter to them. I shake my head in sorrow any time someone hopes for better behavior from them.
I’m shocked, shocked that they would try to take advantage of a situation in which Nadler is tending to his ill wife in order to mislead and lie. Next thing you know, they’ll be supporting the imprisonment of innocent children in squalid, risky, and unhealthy situations at the border. O wait.
