I guess the increasingly pathetic puppet put in place to do the bidding of the right wing and Vladimir Putin thinks that Pompeoâs job is just the public part, which consists of praising every step his boss takes. It might be true, for all we know. If that is true, he might also be able to take on the job of providing appropriately sanitized information, supported by unearned praise for the Ego in Chief.

It looks like Pompeo is going for the whole Trump. If Kobach wins the Repug primaries in KS, that would at least present an opportunity for a Dem senator from Kansas. I wonder how Moscow Mitch feels about this.

John Bolton is known to hold grudges and to seek revenge - Pompeo and trump may end up regretting their gloating over Boltonâs removal.
I donât think Bolton would take legal action, but a book and speaking tour during the lead-up to the 2020 elections could be very damaging.

Itâs because the qualifications donât matter. Trump is only ever going to listen to Trumpâs gut for advise. For an actual person to have an actual position in this administration they first have to pass the loyalty test, and then be at least an 8 on the Trump appearance scale. Those who have knowledge need not apply.
