Well now, how is she going to be discredited? Will she have to answer to Mother?

Somebody hire that woman a bodyguard, please. I wouldn’t put it past the trumpers to try to harm her before she can open her mouth if she sincerely wants to cooperate.

So Paul Pelosi will be measuring drapes?

She’s either not going to recall or lie. There’s no way she’s going against Pence.

She could pin everything on Trump

My take as well. She’s going to say they only ever talked about corruption.

Now I now why Pence could say he wasn’t briefed on this. He would have had to talk to a woman! Was there no one else on his staff with the proper clearance to sit in and keep heaven knows what from happening.

Announcing that anyone is going to testify is like announcing a musician is going to walk into a studio. She might simply be going under the guise that they have good coffee so she can spill it on the only copy of the new lyrics.

Williams also accompanied the vice president on his trip to Warsaw, Poland on September 1, where he met with Zelensky directly and discussed Trump’s withholding of military aid to Ukraine. Pence later told the press he had raised the administration’s “great concerns” on the issue of corruption with Zelensky, though he denied bringing up Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

This is where the rubber hits the road. More than that July 25th phone call, I want to hear about this meeting from her. I suppose we’ll get an idea how bad this is by how much Pence freaks out from now until Thursday. Trump, on the other hand, may enjoy watching Pence take a direct hit.

Who wants her to keep her mouth shut more, Pence or Trump?

The new party line will be “Rudy Rudy Rudy.” Trump told him to find out if there was evidence of corruption by Biden; Rudy on his own decided to have the Ukrainians fabricate it. Trump and Pence are now shocked, shocked to find this out.

My understanding is she’s a career professional, so perhaps she’ll just stick with the truth.

Mitch has been playing Trump. Once Trump hits the un-electable ranges in popularity, he’s going to be pushed out with a pardon from Pence who gets run as “incumbent” for 2020. Pence will get to name a VP so even if House decides to investigate him after Trump leaves (I doubt it), Pelosi never becomes POTUS.

Mitch wants to keep packing judges and he has his eyes on two SCOTUS seats, almost solidifying NeoCon majority of the court for decades. Mitch isn’t going to give that up over some alledged party loyalty to Trump.

Trump has been the patsy all along. Now it will be Mao Tse Mitch’s turn to use up and throw Trump away.

What are the odds of Pence resigning “in order to preserve the dignity of the office”, and there goes the administration’s pardon parachute?

Now that Sondland has ‘remembered’ more details of his meetings - going on record MENTIONING his meeting with Pence - It’s possible:

A) She’s going in to save herself.(Tossing Pence and through him, Trump, under the bus)

B) She’s going in to save Pence. (Setting up a firewall of plausible deniability so Pence can move up when Trump falls.)

Don’t know her personal history or inclinations though - so not sure which.

It’s an interesting dynamic. Spiro Agnew was out by the time the Watergate impeachment hit full swing right? So there was no real opportunity for a Mexican standoff between POTUS and VPOTUS. However, what we have here… Quite different.
And you know Pence is both so thirsty and so desperate to avoid accountability.
Going to be very interesting.
