May as well have issued a roll of toilet paper.

ETA: Having proven themselves to be utterly ineffectual in the impeachment and tax return subpoena wars, and with two weeks to go before these subpoenas become ineffective as a matter of law, the House of Representatives issuing a subpoena is a not-even-remotely-funny joke.

Hmmm, subpoenas. I remember those. The things this admin treats like whoopee cushions?

It serves as a reminder that trying to purge official communications is a really bad idea.

But yeah, not much chance of actual compliance with this before Inauguration Day.

Legally speaking, though OT, interesting presser that Billy Barr just gave.

What did he say?

BTW. Those who ever said something like “it’s just a flue” or it’s a “phony pandemic just to hurt the president”, opposed the lockdowns and the use of mask or used the term “china virus” should be the last to get the Covid vaccine after all prisioners and minks have received it.

That Steve Scalise is such a kidder. We see what the CDC was saying and doing over the time.

Of course they are going to not comply, be serious.

Send the fucking Sergeant-at-Arms out and put some motherfuckers in the Capitol Hill Police Jail. Tell the courts it’s none of their goddamned business and ignore their orders. Put John Roberts in that jail cell. Act like you’re not utterly helpless in securing compliance. Or just accept your status as a subordinate branch. I already know which option the House is going to take.

He said no reason to appoint a special council over Hunter Biden and no reason to seize voting machines and no reason to appoint a special council over voting fraud

In a question from CNN’s Evan Perez, Barr said that if he felt that a special counsel was needed in the Hunter Biden probe, “I would have appointed one.”

Barr said DOJ is prosecuting for PanAm bombing over Lockabee in 1988, responded to lots of questions about Hunter Biden. Will let DOJ investigation take course on that. Repeated that he not seen any fraud that would change election. Probably many fine points in the particular way that he gave his answers that will be fodder for much debate.

Could Barr be pushing the give-a-shit button?

He’s been carrying that water for the better part of two years, and now wants to leave the impression that he’s above all that. He’s a disgrace to the office and a thoroughly despicable man.

Agreed.
First order of business is for the unredacted Mueller report be released.
Then the truth about “spying” by the Obama admin on Flynn, Page, et al.
Barr’s buckets must be spilled.
