House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-MD), now the highest-ranking black member of Congress, said he “cringed” when he heard former Vice President Joe Biden’s remark to voters that they “ain’t black” if they are considering a vote for President Trump in November.

I cringed too.
But I cringed even more at all the pink people telling POC that they should feel outraged…
By pink people telling them how they should feel.
(And you don’t even wanna know how much more I cringe at the thought of a second Trump term!)

Let’s see…on the one hand there’s a minor gaffe by a politician with a history of supporting the black community, and the first black president. On the other, there’s the candidate who constantly says things that are overtly or overly racist (including about the first black president), and whose supporters march armed with AR-15s and the Confederate and Nazi flags. Yeah, I can see how people think they are just the same…
Really, Biden said something silly, but it’s also something that’s pretty logical…the Republican party and Trump do not, in any way, support the black community. Sure, Biden said something silly by claiming that they “ain’t black”, but if he had said “you ain’t looking out for the best interest of the black community” he would have been completely correct.

Grist for the media and bloggers, but not a real world story. If there are ten black people in the country who actually decide to vote against Joe because of this, I would be surprised.
