These guidelines are now being changed, as the committee of the Judicial Conference responsible for financial disclosure for the entire federal judiciary just this past month announced new guidance. And, [while nobody can guarantee the success of any effort, nor in fact expect success,] it is, of course, my intent to follow this guidance in the future.

I think the term “personal hospitality” applies to things like having dinner at someone’s house, not lavish vacations that would cost on the order of a half million dollars.
