Changing cities in 3.2.1.

We have never had a President so intent on dividing America. Until Trump they have all had the stated desire to unite all of us. Trump is simply unbelievable.

Charlotte will have to do something to even this out in the eyes of the GOP. Maybe make driving while Muslim illegal. Herd a few homeless people into a nearby canal. It’s coming.

Wish I could have voted.

Wait … Didn’t NC pass its infamous “bathroom law” to thwart Charlotte’s “open bathrooms” policy? How long before the NC legislature passes a law making it illegal for Charlotte to pass resolutions. The NC Republican Party will not take this lying down.

His game is to get people to fight with each other. Driving wedges is how it gets done.

Yes, but…44% is just about what he needs under our current system of electing a President, factoring in the distortion of the Electoral College and the manner in which it tosses aside the votes of millions, disregarding their preference for a candidate. Throw in help from the Russians, already solicited by Trump, along with state sanctioned vote suppression efforts, along with the dependable lazy segment of Democrats that will assuredly stay home, and Trump is sitting pretty. Despite being an insane, xenophobic racist.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump’s job approval rating so far does not appear to have been negatively impacted by the racist tweets he sent last week telling four Democratic congresswomen of color that they should “go back” and fix their countries of origin before trying to make changes in the U.S.

In fact, his approval rating among registered voters nationally reached a new high at 44% in an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Monday.

Trump has one goal and that is to be reelected on his terms.

The racist crap is all strategy. It’s time for the Dems to settle on a candidate and get on with the fight. And the message has to be forward thinking because Trump will move on to more great lies about Keeping American Great.

This IS a battle for our soul.

Good luck getting him to pay his bills after he’s done. Chumps. Should’ve also made a resolution to get the money upfront to hold the Convention if they had their thinking caps on.

He owes 10 cities close to a million dollars in back payments for his bullshit hate rallies. I suspect it won’t be much different for the GOP Convention.

Well, I’m laughing!

But I’d be laughing harder if not for this:

The vote was split along party lines

It would be typical for him to trash the city every time he speaks at the convention. The political effects of that can of course be imagined.

O/T, but speaking of condemning Trump’s racism and xenophobia:

You know, you’d think that some city councils would wake up to this and refuse.

On the other hand, Cheatolini stiffed one contractor (and bank) after another but was always able to find another sucker.

You gotta ask: are they all just stupid, or just adolescent enough to think “it’ll never happen to me…?”

They should be unable to ever get jobs again, let alone serve on the force

If they want to show some real class they can cancel … they may have some contractual obligation, but I bet they could come up with a reason why it would be unsafe to hold the convention in that venue
