New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) announced Thursday that he would hold a news conference at 1:30pm ET today. Christie said earlier this week that he was deliberating who to appoint as interim senator for the seat vacated by the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), who died Monday.
