“A safe zone” at the White House. Based on what evidence?

First off in recounting about all he got wrong Chris Christie should have included any input he had in helping prepare Trump for the debate and his responsibility for Trump’s debate performance.

That said, that after Trump made a fool out of big fatty when immediately after the 2016 election when he fired Christie from his transition team when before the election only Christie would be part of such a team, that big fatty is still a Trump sycophant says Christie was wrong to have ever been born.

“I don’t know who infected me and I don’t know how frequently he was tested,” Christie told the Times, referring to Trump.

Hmmm… the object of the first clause sure sounds like it is the “he” in the second clause. Sometimes one’s grammar gives things away that one doesn’t mean to say.

Well, good for Christie for being honest about his experience instead of following the Republican requirement to lie about COVID, he gets points for that. He loses them for throwing in with, and encouraging, a Republican party dedicated to absolute power and willing to destroy our nation to get it. Too bad he doesn’t show any regret for that yet.

So many people bought the line that Christie just checked himself into the hospital like it was a Sandals Beach Resort. That’s not how it works. He was admitted because he was damn near dying.

On another note, I’m glad to see he’s taking this attitude now. One would have thought surely that Trump would have too if for no other reason than as a campaign strategy, to give himself a shot at reframing his response to the virus. His ego won’t even allow him to do the most obvious thing in the world to attempt to save his own ass. Trump is truly the stupidest man on the planet.

These people see a big truck coming at them and just can’t jump out of the way until it is too late. Typical Republicans.

“Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.” Wildstein responded to Kelly’s e-mail : “Got it.”

No one believed that Christie didn’t authorize this.

Does everyone know that along with some 36 staffers and advisers who were infected by Fat Nixon, one was the military officer who follows Fatso around carrying the “football”?

“I believed when I entered the White House grounds, that I had entered a safe zone, due to the testing that I and many others underwent every day,” Christie told the Times in a statement

Gosh Chris, if only there had been some kind of precedent to have clued you in [GODDAMNED HERMAN CAIN] to the importance of avoiding Republican Party superspreader events.

Anyone read this article at The Atlantic that delves into how bad the debate hurt him?
Was great reading it:

Oh Chris you don’t want to start down the path of all the things you were wrong about!

So Trump had it and received emergency treatment that the rest of us won’t be able to get.

He needs to go. Hillary was so fucking right! “He’s going to kill us all.”

It’s just stunning to me that he almost lost his life following a man who didn’t even think enough of him to put him in his administration. He almost Herman Cain’d himself over a man who if CC were on fire and he had a hose would stand there and watch him burn to death than risk getting water on his shoes. While I’m sure they’re relieved and thrilled he’s OK, his family must be furious with him for his recklessness.

There was an all-you-can-eat popcorn shrimp buffet at the White House after the Barrett thing, just like at Red Lobster.

No way Christie was going to miss that.

Right?! It’s really interesting how little impact Cain’s death had on his Republican friends. It’s really very sad how little they cared about him.
