Chief OWS Adviser: ‘I Literally Don’t Know’ What Trump Is Talking About On Vaccine Order | Talking Points Memo

President Donald Trump’s own top science adviser for COVID-19 vaccine distribution said on Tuesday that he can’t explain Trump’s executive order that purports to put Americans ahead of other countries in getting vaccinated for coronavirus, after reportedly failing to secure doses of the vaccine when made an offer by Pfizer earlier this year.

It’s ok, none of them know what they are talking about.

What a surprise since he isn’t talking to anyone about anything related to the actual job of being president.

I suspect this “vaccine summit” will consist of mostly of Dr. Cadet Bone Spurs praising himself for singlehandedly guiding the development of the vaccine followed by a round robin of sycophants praising him for his untiring efforts in developing and distributing the vaccine.

“We couldn’t have done it without you, sir.”

Haha! Yeah, for a guy who seems so desperate to remain president, he sure doesn’t seem to like actually being president.

It’s almost as if he’s only doing it to avoid an aftermath of some sort.

This sounds completely reassuring

In related news, Pres. Trump today signed an executive order that establishes that the United States is, and will remain, in the Western Hemisphere. Congressional Republicans have hailed this measure, citing Trump’s courage and steadfastness.

I take it the Ex Order is to tell pfizer they have to sell to America first even though he passed on buying them earlier and pfizer wasn’t part of his operation warp speed? I don’t think the president has the power to force a private company to screw their paying customers to make up for his own mistake.

If the numbers bear out, the Pfizer vaccine is looking great.

Now, new documents reveal that the vaccine has an 88.9 efficacy rate following just one dose. The FDA released the documents ahead of a Dec. 10 meeting between the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, Vaccines and the Related Biological Products Advisory Committee to discuss emergency use authorization for the vaccine.

The most relevant unknown is how long the immunity lasts.

If Pfizer has a contract with the EU, what’s the standing of an executive order?

Slaoui said “I literally don’t know,” adding, “I don’t know exactly what this order is about.”

Let me help you out. He’s an idiot who has no idea what he’s doing.

I’m pretty sure that at that point they will be taken to court and the courts will overturn any such order almost immediately.

Although I’m not sure how that would play out if Trump declares an emergency.

And while the Republicans will obviously herald it as the greatest thing since sliced bread, the reality is that it would be a far bigger breach of liberties by the government than a century’s worth of mask mandates.

I think it cannot be said enough…Pfizer did NOT participate in Operation Warp Speed. It had no connection to it. Trump and this asshole in the video are trying to take credit for Pfizer’s vaccine via a false Warp Speed connection. Pfizer developed their vaccine free of political ties and stated that was their goal. They wanted no part of Trump.

Also whether vaccinated individuals can still carry and transmit the disease.

Today’s Wall Street Journal Headlines state: " FDA Says Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine Meets Success Criteria". Takes away from Trump’s intent to take credit of vaccine at summit.

Only the Wall Street Journal avoids the “American exceptionalism-America First-Trump is Great” meme and describes vaccine as “Pfizer-BioNTech” not just “Pfizer.”

Other news outlets are still under White House pressure:

  • NPR: " FDA Analysis Of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Finds It Effective And Safe"
  • WaPo: " FDA review confirms safety and efficacy of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine"
  • NBC: " FDA: Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine safe and effective after one dose"
  • USA Today " Pfizer’s COVID vaccine candidate detailed in extensive FDA report, backing up previous findings on safety and effectiveness"
  • ABC:“FDA scientists to report Pfizer vaccine safe and effective.”

Remember, Pfizer is the agent of BioNTech as per the contract between Pfizer and the US Govt. Hope these news outlets get the message and learn how to write a proper headline before Trump takes credit of the work of the BioNTech scientists.

Simple rule; if The Vulgar Talking Yam says or tweets it, it’s probably a lie.

It has certainly put my mind at ease. I’ve been very concerned about this for months.
