Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said in a tweet Tuesday night that she would not allow President Donald Trump to deploy troops in Chicago to “terrorize our residents.”
Noble move, Mayor Lightfoot, but Fat Nixon has already been terrorizing residents everywhere for 3 and 1/2 years.
The Dumpsterfire won’t stop until he’s “dominated” Mayor Lightfoot. And that process will be ugly.

What Trump, Barr and Kushner/Miller are doing is UNLAWFUL because they are arresting people “proactively” (no crime committed yet) and also violating their 1stA!

In Portland at least, Trump has set up “David Vs. Goliath” optics and Americans love to root for the underdog.

The governors should call up the state national guard to help protect against the rougue Trump agents. Maybe that will grab people’s attention about how wrong this situation is.
Sad to say that would be the recipe for a civil war, which is not outside the realm of what the Dotard and his minions want.
The question that doesn’t get enough attention is the apparently lack of jurisdiction for these Federal agents. For what federal crimes exactly are people being pulled from public streets that are not on Federal property?
Couldn’t Chicago police arrest unidentified heavily armed men abducting people off streets and pulling them into unmarked vans? And imagine the response if these feds were arrested and charged with felony abduction and false imprisonment charges. Arresting and charging 5 or 6 feds under state law would probably end this silliness once and for all.
This would be very provocative and I’m guessing no one has the nerve.
Ain’t gonna happen.
He won’t make it. This is a solo (and a bad one at that) with lots of notes out of tune.
If any governor calls in the National Guard to protect that state’s citizens from these lawless federal thugs, then that is the excuse Wolf needs to further escalate this into a genuine bloodbath. But, i agree. That won’t happen.
I hope that this can be stopped legally. Yeah, I know…this is the Trump Era.
When I was growing up, I remember owning a cap pistol, which used those ribbons with dimples of god-knows-what, fulminate of mercury???, to make the noise. I never wanted a BB gun. But my evil little cronies and I used to buy these 4” long firecrackers and stuff one in the end of a length of iron pipe with a ball bearing or marble in front of the cracker. And then we’d “aim” the length of pipe at a discarded glass milk bottle. It took a few goes at it, but we’d eventually destroy the milk bottle in, what seemed to my 10 year old self, an atomic detonation.

Trouble here is no matter how benign the extra federal help is that they send, they can always spin it as liberal Democratic leaders can’t keep you safe, so we sent in federal law to maintain order.
