Can anyone here imagine choosing politics as a career with a past like this?

I mean anyone left of center, obviously.

If you’re not a craven piece of shit, you’re not a Republican.

If by “nice” you mean that he’ll throw his son under the bus to save his own skin, then yes.

And where was the nice man on 6 Jan?

Yeah, that was a big mistake. My understanding was he was senior in HS and she was in 8th grade. Must have been a small town.

Where and how does the Republican Party develop these candidates? It’s amazing. They tried to use the crazies with the lies they fed them over the past 50 years and this is where we wind up. What the Republican Party (old) leadership didn’t realize is that the crazies would take over as soon as they did.

He compared his story, and his ex-wife’s story, to Romeo and Juliet. Except that Romeo didn’t divorce Juliet, ¯_(ツ)_/¯ when she killed herself, and then grow up to be a legislator in the party of King Lear. Kinda feel like this story is only half complete, and that it deserves a Shakespearean ending, if you get my meaning.

Wait it gets better.

Education[edit]

Bouchard attended the Florida State College at Jacksonville.[3]

Career[edit]

Prior to entering politics, Bouchard was a businessman, automotive technician, and welder. He later worked as an automotive business management consultant.

Since 2017, Bouchard has also worked as a real estate agent. He and his wife own and operate a septic-draining business.[4]

Lobbying[edit]

Brochard spent several years as a lobbyist for Wyoming Gun Owners, a group he founded.[5]

In 2010, Bouchard led an effort to oppose receiving $1 million of federal money to protect against large increases to health insurance premiums. Bouchard said that accepting the money would have undermined Wyoming’s ability to fight the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in court.[6]

The only thing missing in usual Republican apology/non-apology is that he asked for God’s forgiveness.

Like father, like son? Sounds like the kid had no choice. Look at the background in his upbringing.

So he’s a shoo-in, destined to become the next Guardians Of Pedophiles star.

Wait, statutory rape isn’t a disqualifying factor in running for office as a Republican. Hell, any kind of rape is OK. What am I missing?
