Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) who was ousted as Republican Conference Chair, apparently hasn’t ruled out a 2024 presidential bid in her effort to stop former President Donald Trump from setting foot in the White House again as commander-in-chief.
I’d love to see a campaign debate between her and T****.
I don’t want her to be President but the debate stage would be fabulous. Liz against the Trump faithful Cruz, Graham, Paul and Donnie himself. What a circus!
In other news, I’m not prepared to rule out a presidential bid either.
Much as I like her dumping on Who?..to paraphrase the woman herself…I don’t want HER anywhere near the Oval Office.

I think her plan is to sit tight and wait to see how Trump is faring in 2025. If Trump and Trumpism die an ugly death in the 2024 race, she’ll be there to pick up the pieces for 2028.
She could never win against Trump in a Republican primary which means she would have to run in a 3rd party to dilute his votes. Maybe Miles Taylor and other Republicans are planning something along those lines?

Oh yes, while the news value of yet another “underage women paid to have sex with Gaetz’s buddy” story is incalculable.
When we cut Israel off from military aid as punishment for the genocide of Palestinians, THAT will be news. Not that I expect that to happen in any approaching century.
