Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) thinks every member of Congress ought to condemn Rep. Madison Cawthorn’s (R-NC) recent remarks in which he referred, among other things, to busting Jan. 6 insurrectionists out of jail and potential “bloodshed” over “rigged” and “stolen” elections.
Every time I see this guy I feel like a shadow flies over me. He is scary with his Barbie and Ken good looks and his death cult language. One of the few that I consider to be a real, honest to God monster.
Kev is so DEPERATE to be Speaker that he is now threatening the telecoms…he sure as sht doesn’t care about the ethics, values or beliefs of his members.
Coming out against political bloodshed? I think it’s time to try to censure her again. Her ideas are way too radical for mainstream Republicans right now.
Cheney thinks the good ship Trump is going to sink. She wants to tie McCarthy to it as tightly as possible so that he will go down with it. Then she can be Admiral of the Fleet.
Hell, I would think any GOP member of Congress with a reasonably deft set of staffers to write something up could slalom through this no thing. You just talk about your admiration for Representative Cawthorn’s passionate willingness to defend election integrity, especially as a differently abled person. C’mon, Kev! You want to be speaker in the current environment, you can’t stand there tongue-tied, dude! Defending the indefensible is what you do!
“In his comments, Congressman Cawthorn is CLEARLY advocating for violence not to occur over election integrity questions,” the spokesperson, Luke Ball, said.
Cawthorn’s crack PR staff think that when you put something in all caps it CAN’T be head-spinning, 180 degree bizarro BS.
