Statements are defamatory per se so the plaintiffs don’t even have to prove any actual injury? Check.
Plaintiffs are, in reality, highly sympathetic figures? Check.

After 9/11 in early 2002 I had a coworker who said to me “you have to check out this Infowars site, they’re wack”. “Controlled implosion!” I had heard about Jones from the early Linklatter independent film Slacker featured as an off kilter figure but never thought that he’d go full crazy. Thankfully my coworker never fell into his orbit.
