The Trump administration has sent to the printers a version of the 2020 census that does not contain the citizenship question, according to an email the Justice Department sent Tuesday to some of the lawyers challenging the question in court.

This likely moots the retrial of the racial animus prong of the Maryland case, although I would not be at all surprised if the judge rules on the improperly concealed evidence in connection with a motion for sanctions against the bad actors in the government.
Hope someone at the print shop double-checks that they get the right version… Or we’re going to get an “oopsie” in a few months…

My thought too. They had to bring Pence back to help calm an enraged and combative Trump down enough to persuade him to let this happen. But I’m still watching for them to continue the fight and “correct” it during proofreading.
