In Vegas, many of the big hotels donated both food and money to the local food bank, albeit with one notable exception.
ProPublica talked to the CEO of Las Vegas’ Three Square Food Bank, which was able to gather 180 tons of donated food from the city’s now-shuttered major casinos in just two days—donations from “the MGM, Wynn, Boyd Gaming, Station Casios and Ceasars, among others”—plus financial donations as well.
What about Trump, who has a tall yellow casino tower of his own?
“No, they have not been a donor.”
But not to worry. Although the Kockholster Klan won’t be helping others, they will be helping … wait for it … themselves.
“I think I’ve made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I’ve created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I’ve had tremendous success. I think I’ve done a lot.”
