The comments of a person who has no place to go. Just like Trump, say anything but the truth. Once they do they know the storm will roll in on them.
Outside of hauling the Stage over by gun point and taking the ballot boxes off by force, they are not going to win this time around. They can taste it and their fear is becoming visible and they are becoming imbecilic. Biden is opening things up enough that a tweak or two will not do a damn thing. It has to be an ugly, nasty theft that will be visible. I have also noticed the Biden smear job has been almost out of sight. I doubt they can pull off an October surprise that anyone will buy.

I totally agree with all of this. I like the “landslide” press because it does make it harder and harder for them to pull anything off because it instantly looks too damn suspicious.

Just want to add that many believe that Congress can impeach someone after they leave office, which makes sense since a) there’s always the possibility that malfeasance won’t be discovered until someone has left the government, and b) one possible outcome of impeachment is a permanent ban from holding federal office (appointed office, anyway—it’s not clear that impeachment could prevent someone under such a ban from running for, and winning the presidency).
I fantasize a scenario in which Democratic control of the White House and both houses of Congress opens the floodgates on all the evidence of wrongdoing in the DOJ and William Barr gets impeached and then barred for life from holding federal office. I say “fantasize,” but I honestly think something like that has to happen — either impeachment or a criminal conviction — or all this crap will just start up again the next time a Republican wins the White House.

Actually, the covid mortality rate is quite possibly 30x higher than the flu, and here’s why –
The thing about the flu mortality rate is it too is a calculation. The often-stated “flu mortality rate” of .1% is itself a case fatality rate, not an infection fatality rate. Just as with Covid-19, many people get the flu each year and nurse themselves back to health without ever seeing a doctor. One viral expert believes that as many as 2/3 of annual flu cases are never formally diagnosed. This means the actual infection fatality rate of the flu is less than .1%, perhaps as low as .03%.

Well hells bells @txlawyer, I haven’t visited a barber since 1986 and my hair got to mid back length(yeah, I’m a hippie…an unreconstructed member of the Woodstock Nation and proud of it) but as I have aged (I’m 71 now) my hair for some reason has got shorter of its own accord. Still uncut, just shorter.
