Cassidy Hutchinson, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows’ top aide, is reportedly cooperating with the Fulton County district attorney’s 2020 election investigation in Georgia after providing bombshell testimony to the House Jan. 6 Committee.
Oh, come on. How much could she know? She was only the assistant to the White House Chief of Staff, with an office within a few paces of the Oval. I imagine she was in charge of coffee, or the like. She probably never even talked to anyone in charge. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
The time for passing masonry is over. Now is the time to be calling a nearby U.S. Attorney and trying to cut a deal. Seriously, everyone knows if you’re going to do time, you want to do it in Federal prison, and NOT, under any circumstances, Georgia State prison.
Seems like principled conservatives have always been the Achilles heel of the fascist movement’s plans. Good to know there are several left. Wish there were more.
If he’s not already babbling everything he knows to the 1/6 Committee (which, be it said, I believe he is), Mark Meadows is going to jail for 100 years.
Note also–as I’m sure all heads-up WaRs have already done–that Ms Hutchinson is cooperating with Georgia DA, but was also lead-off surprise witness in the FIRST 1/6 hearing (the one that was preceded by a call to her from SOMEONE saying “the Big Guy knows you’ll do the right thing”).
1/6 Committee has it all. They are coordinating with Georgia, SDNY, and DOJ. Liz Cheney is going to have Trump’s noggin on a stick and his hide nailed to a Wyoming hunting lodge’s wall.
There is no such thing as principled conservatives, not a single one, as Hershel Walker has shown. There are naïve conservatives and cynical conservatives, plus a whole bunch of outright Nazis and conmen.
I’ll grant you some, maybe most, possibly all are definitely also in the naive camp, but I genuinely believe there are some principled conservatives, because I’ve known some. They’ve always been people who act fully on their beliefs and stick to them. They just have some messed-up beliefs.
