I’m more and more thinking an effective Dem strategy, starting now for the midterms and carrying them into the next presidential election, could be getting behind a signature bill with a simple, perhaps one-sentence purpose: To undo every single thing Musk did to the US Government.
Call it the “Take Back What The Billionaires Stole From America Bill”, or some such.

A helluva lot of people caution that there are myriad reasons for optimism today. And they very specifically are fond of asserting that a decided minority of people actually support Trump. Here, on this forum, many like to cite that Trump only drew an actual 22% (give or take) of eligible voters. Anyone asserting even half the country is behind him is dismissed as vastly overstating his support. “It’s nowhere near half!!” is the battle cry.
I wonder what it says about a democracy that “nowhere near half” of the people somehow manage to install a President that doesn’t care about a damned thing except himself, his money and his revenge tour?
Anyone saying Trump has vast support is disputed. Yet there he sits in the Oval Office. Funny how that works.
