He would have been happy to have his goons post the home addresses of every member of the Capitol Police Force. It’s sad that we still have people deciding not to do the right thing because they fear his retribution.
That’s exactly why antifa penetrated the upper-leadership with exact replicas to have only antifa exact replicas of Trump supporters attend … to blame the real patriots!!!1!!
DHS, and more specifically CBP.
It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that he was behind the release of the tax information on billionaires not paying taxes. Notice that he wasn’t on the list, but will provide some static for confusing the situation when/if indictments come down. He had plenty of access to that information and has plenty of swine who are happy to do his dirty work.
I’m not.
Even as lameduck President, he still had the power to get the MAGAverse to harass people and their careers. One tweet with your name in it could generate dozens to hundreds of deaths threats against you and your family. That’s why his Twitter ban was so important and effective.
I wonder how many people have never gotten their phones back?

Sadly, if the world was tuning in to see what was going to happen then, gee, perhaps the world was more in the know than the CPDC command were? To be fair, I was suprised at how ill-prepared they were for what did happen. But one needs to consider that there were the bombs placed at the DP and GOP HQ buildings that effectively withdrew mind and physical resources away from where they were more badly needed on Jan 6. Was that a failure in intelligence on the part of CPDC? Maybe. What is clear is that the majority of law enforcement leadership, at all levels, were thinking that this could not be as bad as the BLM protests from months previously, even though there was ample evidence, a lot of it readily available if one just read the tweets of folks like Flynn, the President, et al with regard to the ginning up of folks who had shown in the past that they could and would be violent. In this, one should always doubt that the DC police union itself is not also guilty of racist assumptions about crowd control and police leadership issues… not that I know that for a certainty, only that the effectively under-prepared police on Jan 6 were lead not by the current acting chief, who happens to be a person of color.
The ultimate ineffectiveness of the CPDC that day was due to the top leadership, basically the Congressional Sargeants at Arms and the committee that oversees the CP, not by the current acting chief per se. It is also odd that there was no comprehensive report submitted by DHS, nor by FBI with red flags all over the place to CPDC leadership in the days leading up to this happening. Has the police union chastised DHS and FBI for not doing a better job of infiltrating the Proud Boys, the Boogaloo Bois, the Oath Keepers, etc? For not getting the intelligence put forward in a way that would make the Congress itself take the threat seriously? Further, if one looks at the response on the federal side, one may find a lot of intelligence brown-out undercutting of CPDC’s capabilities leading up to, during, and now after the Jan 6 insurrection… by those who are supporters of sedition and white supremacy. I would hope that the union was also concerned about that particular issue as well…
Can anyone with a better memory help me out here? I thought the chief of the Capitol Police did resign, already, and Ms. Pittman is his replacement. (She wasn’t in charge at the time… why should she resign? Or, is it just that she’s a) female and b) black?)
ETA: Yeah. I found it; some guy named “Sund” was in charge, then. He’s claiming victimhood.
She was head of Intel for the po-po there. So the Union, rather rightly, is saying that if this is all an Intel failure, then why is the head of Intel not shown the door.
The irony in that statement is painful.
“Senior leadership” is NOT the acting head of the police, numbnuts!
I’m seeing it as a failure to act on, (or, with), intelligence. So, I’d like to know more about the decision-making process before we throw any particular person under the bus. And, I gotta admit… my knee jerk reaction to anything any Police Union Official says, any time, every time, is to assume they’re lying.

I wonder how this would all be shaking down if ten, or twenty Capitol Police officers had been killed that day. It was entirely possible from what we now know. I honestly don’t think it would have moved the needle on an investigation all that much.
What’s revolting is that the Capitol Police and law enforcement nationwide could have taken to the streets, gone on strike, or mounted a massive media campaign to shame the Senate into demanding a full investigation, but because cops are all Trump ball washers, they won’t.
It sure gets easier not to give a crap about them once you know they’re too craven to even demand justice for themselves.
It is such a strange miscarriage of justice that a handful of patriots are being charged with crimes just for taking a tour of the capitol building during business hours. Dark times.
Meh, any time the po-po are infighting, it’s a good day.
If she’s got a case to make that she tried to hit the alarm bells and was brushed aside by her bosses, by all means, let’s hear it.
I expect that not to have been the case.
One of the worst fashion choices to pop up in the last year.
Perhaps the Acting Chief should ask the Capitol Police union chairman to step aside because of this?
Capitol Police Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman further directed that any member whose behavior is not in keeping with the department’s Rules of Conduct “will face appropriate discipline.”
Last month, Pittman announced that the department is conducting an investigation after images and videos shared on social media raised questions about the actions of some USCP officers.
