I’m not quite at that point yet. I wouldn’t doubt some fantasize about it, but none of them are going to end their cushy job and spend years in prison carrying it out. I think it’s theater for the rubes. My main concern is that if they’re too irresponsible to follow rules and don’t appear to be all that bright to begin with, they probably don’t really know how to properly handle a firearm and will shoot someone by accident.

I’ve read multiple reports that House Reps have flouted metal screening policies, bypassing the devices or rushing through them and ignoring alarms, and when confronted blowing up and berating Capitol police. This is AFTER Pelosi announced her new policy and attendant fines for violations.
Why in the hell does House leadership allow these violations? What good does it do to announce fines if they’re not imposed?
Goddamn Democrats are the spineless slugs we all fear them to be. Cowering to Q-Anon and militias, as always.
