The California state bar moved to revoke attorney John Eastman’s law license on Thursday, saying that he lied over and over again to support President Trump’s effort to stay in office after losing the 2020 election.
The Bar has to do this, don’t they? The public needs to see consequences, concrete action. Start with revoking his license. He’s destined for the Big House.
Nor do any of the humans, pets, mice or spiders in our house. Then again, of recent years we have united in our loathing for anyone with an R beside their name. Didn’t used to be that way. I was in fact a senior direct gubernatorial appointee of two Republican governors in my state(and one Democratic governor). Now when I see the R I either puke, get agitated, or increase my storehouse of heavy weapons.
They include eight counts of moral turpitude, two counts of trying to mislead a court, and one count of failing to support the laws and Constitution of the United States.
Yes, I think they do. It’s past time for their respective bars to also go after Jeffrey Clark, Sidney Powell, Rudy Guliani, and several others.
If there are consequences, then perhaps certain lawyers will think twice before they foist another Big Lie on the American people.
I also wouldn’t mind if they went after members of Congress with a license to practice law who voted against certifying the election without any evidence of fraud or any reasonable basis to do so.
Moral turpitude? John was simply a devoted whore for the white racist Messiah and Prophet Skanky. Whoring and criming for such an exalted one is a high virtue not a turpitude.
Yes!!! For failing to support the laws and Constitution of the United States. People take oaths to do that very thing, including fat men with too-long red ties.
Yes - if you are disbarred in one state, you have to report that to other states where you are licensed (or other courts you’re licensed in, like some federal district and appeals courts). That other state/court then decides whether to also discipline you, but they generally follow and echo the decision of the state or court that first sanctioned you.
