LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was discharged from a London hospital where he was treated in intensive care for the coronavirus as the U.K. on Sunday became the fourth European country to surpass 10,000 virus-related deaths.
This is an especially sad day for the UK, hopefully Johnson will decide his time is better spent with his family instead of ruining the lives of an entire country.
As the death toll mounts in the U.K. and hospitals get increasingly overwhelmed, Johnson’s popularity, as well as that of the Conservative Party in general, will plummet. They blew their response to this virus in a big way and will have one of the highest death tolls in the world as a result (second only to the U.S.).
I suspect that all good feeling toward Johnson be gone by June.
Depends on whether he says anything else to the press beyond the recent gratitude and praise for his health-care workers. If he starts talking about Brexit, or the pandemic response, or the economy, or Trump … then all good feeling toward him might be gone by mid to late April.
Successfully treated at no cost by that socialist, gubmint, waste of taxpayer dollars, the NHS, and he praises two foreign, job-taking, bitch nurses that should immediately be deported. Ottoman Boris should follow them because he ain’t pure little England English.
I read that Boris didn’t believe in sickness and didn’t recognize sickness in others. I suppose this may have been an opportunity for him to contemplate that.
