A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo.
Ex-Vice President Mike Pence is proud to say that he and the guy who allegedly cheered on the bloodthirsty mob who wanted to have him hanged parted “very amicably” on Jan. 20 last year, and that he will “always be proud” to have served with the guy who allegedly cheered on the bloodthirsty mob who wanted to have him hanged.
Ron Johnson explains why he broke his promise to only run for two terms: “I didn’t want to do this .. but people are literally coming up to me with tears in their eyes, streaming down their cheeks saying, ‘You got to run. You got to help us save this country!” pic.twitter.com/XulmzjLDYz

Pence is a sickening creep. Wanting to be known as the guy that saved the Republic and, on the other hand, doesn’t want to say a bad word about his hero.
He somehow thinks this is all going to work out and he’ll be the next president.
In what world in the ‘Multiverse’ does Mr. Pence imagine that he has a chance even to win the GOP nomination, let alone become POTUS? For me, it isn’t so much his sycophancy as his lack of self-awareness.
Maybe the Trump supporters were on to something January 6. Ambition poisons the mind. Pure fantasy to think he could get nominated for President let alone be elected. Pence should go back to Indiana and fade away. Let his bro take over dishonoring the family name.
