I guess she is still pulling evidence together, but it would’ve seemed to me she’d gone a long way to getting a fair portion of it prior to 20 January.

Maybe I’m wrong, but there was a whole lot of puffery, as I recall, as to all the information they already had prior to the inauguration.

If there’s a weekly mass shooting there will never be an appropriate time to discuss the means to stop them. At what point does it become obvious that this argument is ridiculous?

No name yet, but AP is reporting shooter is age 21.

$50 says he’s incel, an ammosexual, a member of some violent militia type group, “Q” friendly and spends countless hours playing video games.

I have seen the name of the officer killed yesterday in Boulder. Officer Talley. I knew his name last night. Right now the media is reporting that the other 9 people killed by the shooter have been named as has the shooter. But I cannot find anything other than the shooter is 21 years old. Maybe later the names will filer out but it’s frustrating to not know… I have friends in Boulder… No family however.

Law enforcement officials just named the suspect apprehended during the Boulder shooting on Tuesday as Ahmad Alissa, 21, of Arvada, Colorado.

That sounds muslimy. Definitely not a case of just a bad day, but outright and undiluted terrorism. Get ready for Fox News to start drumming up an anti-muslim pogrom.

I cannot find anywhere where the names are listed.
I have read they were read out at a news conference but that’s it.

He looked white, so you can excuse the cops for not executing the terrorist on the spot.

Grassley is a lying sack of sh*t as usual. (Remember when he was one of the “reasonable republicans”)

Rethugs will act as they always do when it comes to death of regular people, be it Covid or mass shooting. We absolutely do not give one shit. We’re all about the money and there’s no way for them to get more money by saving over half a million lives from Covid or thousands by guns.
I absolutely hate this issue more than any other and nothing will get done and modest proposals are worthless.

How could you possibly look that bad at 21, thought he should at least be in his 40’s. Good grief.

There was a guy who sported a pistol on his hip when he’d enter our local Albertson’s grocery store. I witnessed on more than one occasion in past years that folks would leave their grocery carts wherever they were at the moment and promptly exit the store. Yesterday’s events speak to the wisdom of those shoppers.
It is long long past time to act on gun legislation or even a Constitutional amendment changing the language of the second amendment. It can be done. It should be done.
