Otherwise I expect him to let others attack Bloomberg as Bloomberg is eating into their vote share, not Bernie’s

I understand your POV. While I disagree, it is not an unreasonable POV.

I think that now, more so than ever how a candidate responds to attacks will be the whole ballgame for the General.

If the attacks hurt a candidate better now than when we are stuck with them as nominee.

I get this but sometimes I just go and rewatch Biden vs Ryan VP debate from 2012. One of them had their experience and shit together, and other was a clueless jerk with a smirk.

Bloomberg’s polling meets the party’s criteria for inclusion, but his refusal to raise money from outside donors — even in minuscule increments — means he can’t meet the qualifying threshold. Green proposed altering the rules so that Bloomberg would be included.

I predict Sanders will be hit very hard during the debate over his medical records. It will probably be the first question right out of the gate.

Lesson learned: Don’t make promises you don’t intend to keep. If the Sanders campaign were smart they would release the records right before the debate started to defuse the issue quickly.

Considering Bloomberg’s strategy was trying to AVOID this, we’ll now see how it goes. I expect it’ll just be a solid hour of him being body slammed by Warren and Bernie as he meekly tries to justify his problematic past. If he doesn’t chicken out, that is

Though debating has never been Biden’s specialty, he is sure to direct some fire at Bloomberg, not least because the former mayor has been running ads highlighting former President Barack Obama’s praise of him — a lane that the former Vice President has sought to dominate.

I’ve seen data suggesting that many viewers of these ads find them distasteful: perhaps even an unfair attack on Biden.

Anyone here feel the same way?
